| Writer's Block: Honesty is such a lonely word |

HELL NO!!!
I'm not a fan of lies or deciet in general, but the idea that "honesty is the best policy" has needlessly hurt more people than any other such cliche that I can think of right now. Sometimes people don't need to know things. Even if you're operating totally on the level, sometimes it happens that there's an incident that would only upset someone else important in your life. Why would you let that happen? We are always saying things like "I'll never hurt you" and "I'll never let you down" so if we tell the truth in a situation where the only effect will be to hurt someone that we've said such things to, aren't we making liars of our earlier, promise making selves.
Be a virtuous person in you day to day life and respect the feelings of others. A hard-line policy of pure honesty is only going to cause pain.

...my pink fun-fur coat. It needs a cleaning and the lining is kinda ratty. It is however up for grabs if anyone wants it. I am, sadly at a point in my life where it has not seen wear for years and where I cannot see it being worn again. If you would like it, respond here. First person with a viable plan to get it from me takes it. If it isn't claimed here, I will see if I can get it to a friend's clothing swap this Friday and if that doesn't work out, it's either going to Goodwill or the curb.
CLAIMED
